How To Be a Writer
Interested in writing or being a writer?
Hi. I’m Silvano. I’m an actress, writer, producer and speaker. I wrote and produced my first play at the age of seventeen and later went on to study performing arts at University. I worked at the BBC for a number of years and resigned in 2013 to pursue my dream of acting and writing full time. I set up SVG Productions where my vision was to provide a voice for the marginalised and under-voiced in theatre. Since then my work has been shown across the UK. Some of the scripts I wrote, such as Family Secrets and Life Begins, gained traction and ran from 2012 to 2019. My first feature film script was produced and enjoyed its premier in 2018 and my second screenplay has just completed post production.
